New in School!

This is my first post, so I am super excited to share a few things in my classroom. I'm currently a Title One/RTI Aide and I love my job! It's sort of my transition job from college to a classroom teaching position, and it has given me some amazing experiences to share with fellow teachers. First off, I share my classroom with another Title One/RTI Aide, who I like to think of as my partner in crime! We tried to keep a lot of the same things that are in the classroom so that the transition from the regular classroom to our small groups. I love my calendar bulletin board! It's fun and cute, and it is also a job for one student a day to do. They feel like a vital part of the classroom, especially if it's a Kindergartener who does calendar that day! Also, the schedule that hangs right next to the calendar allows my students as well as other teachers know where I am throughout the day if I'm not in my classroom. This is something that is super helpful for Title teachers/aides to have so that students and teachers can see when they will or will not be at their desks! This is held in a scheduling pocket chart and I just wrote each time on different colored construction paper to make it fun and colorful!
The border and the calendar set is from www.reallygoodstuff.com! I get a lot of my stuff from there! The pocket charts are from www.orientaltrading.com! My super cute alphabet posters above the calendar are from Dollar Tree! I love that place!
Enjoy!
